Abstract

It is shown that a charged fluid in contact with a planar electrode, of finite thickness, is correlated with the charged fluid on the other side of the electrode. Results for several plate and fluid parameters are presented. Thicker electrical double layers seem to promote a stronger correlation between the liquids at both sides of the wall.
