Heavy-quark-state production in pp collisions

Abstract

We estimate the relative probabilities of Ψ(2S) to J/Ψ production at BNL-RHIC and Υ(nS) production at the LHC and Fermilab in pp collisions, using our recent theory of mixed heavy-quark hybrids, in which the Ψ(2S) and Υ(3S) mesons have approximately equal normal qq¯ and hybrid qq¯g components.
