Abstract

Theoretical predictions for the pp2J/ψ+X cross section at s=7TeV with different kinematical restrictions are presented. Results are compared with the first LHCb data available. Special attention is paid to a possible signal from novel particles—tetraquarks build from two valence c-quarks and two valence c¯-quarks. According to our estimates, it is quite possible to observe at least one of these states (tensor tetraquark) experimentally under LHCb conditions.
