Remarks on Ds*Dsπ0 decay

Abstract

We calcuate the rate for Ds*Dsπ0 decay using chiral perturbation theory. This isospin-violating process results from π0η mixing, and its amplitude is proportional to (mdmu)[ms(mu+md)2]. Experimental information on the branching ratio for Ds*Dsπ0 can provide insight into the pattern of SU(3) violation in radiative D* decays.
