Abstract

We calculate the parity-violating amplitudes in the nd interaction with pionless effective field theory to leading order. Matching the parity-violating low-energy constants to the coefficients of the model by Desplanques, Donoghue, and Holstein we make numerical predictions for parity-violating observables. In particular, we give predictions for the spin rotation of a neutron on a deuteron target and for target and beam asymmetries in nd scattering.
