Abstract

The influence of the nuclear Coulomb field on two-pion and two-kaon correlations is investigated for sources with charge number Z=160. The source radii extracted from the correlation function determined in sideward and outward directions are remarkably affected for meson pairs with average momenta below 200 MeV/c. © 1996 The American Physical Society.
