Abstract
Calculations of polarized neutron-polarized scattering are presented for the transverse and longitudinal total cross-section differences Δ and Δ in the energy range =0.1 to 10 MeV. Predictions made from phase-shift analyses, R-matrix analysis, and a multichannel resonating group-model calculation are compared. The predictions are in qualitative agreement and show that polarized neutron-polarized scattering is sensitive to the level structure of in the excitation energy range 20–30 MeV.
