We have measured the light charged particle (LCP) emission probabililty for the spontaneous fission of ${}_{}{}^{244}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Pu}$. For the LCP emission to binary fission probability ratio a value of (2.96±0.31)×${10}^{\mathrm{-}3}$ was found. This result is in agreement with the previously observed trends concerning the LCP emission probability.
