Search for the E5(5102+) transition in Zr90

Abstract

A special arrangement of electron spectrometers has been used to search for a weak E5γ transition in Zr90. The experiment establishes the upper limit: B(E5,5102+)/B(E 5,5101+)≤1.8 (90% confidence limit).
