Role of configuration mixing on absolute alpha-decay width in Po isotopes

Abstract

Absolute alpha-decay widths for the alpha decays of Po210,212,214,216 are calculated within the framework of the nuclear field theory. A tremendous enhancement factor produced by configuration mixing is found.
