We contend that the method of Ramamurthy et al. is based on a misconception of the energy release at scission. Low dissipation (of less than 10 MeV) in ${}_{}{}^{252}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Cf}\mathrm{}\left(\mathrm{sf}\right)\mathrm{}$ follows from a proper evaluation.
