Abstract

Increased use of the ${}^{82}{Sr}$ - ${}^{82}{Rb}$ positron generator in nuclear medicine has led to a redetermination of the half-lives of the isotopic components of this system. The half-life of ${}^{82}{Sr}$ was measured to be 25.55±0.15 days and that of ${}^{82}{Rb}$ 1.273±0.002 min.
