Abstract
The - ray spectrum following thermal neutron capture in has been studied with a Compton-suppression spectrometer. The value for the reaction has been measured as keV. Levels populated by primary transitions from the capture state correlate well with those populated by transfers in the () and () reactions. The data indicate a strong correlation between reduced transition probabilities for the primary transitions and spectroscopic factors for final levels.
