Pressure and temperature dependence of chromium photoluminescence in K2NaGaF6:Cr3+

Abstract

Photoluminescence spectra and lifetimes of K2NaGaF6:Cr3+, measured as functions of pressure and temperature, reveal a pressure-induced transition from broad-band fluorescence to narrow-band phosphorescence.
