Slow Neutron Scattering Cross Sections for Rare Earth Nuclides

Abstract

Coherent neutron scattering amplitudes and total scattering cross sections have been determined for a number of elements and separated isotopes of the rare earth series. One nuclide, Sm152, was found to scatter with negative phase.
