Abstract
Excited levels of have been investigated by means of the radioactive decays of and of . The intensity of a 2.29-Mev gamma-transition in relative to the total number of and disintegrations is found to be different for the two decays. This evidence that the 2.29-Mev transition in is not a crossover is further substantiated by delayed-coincidence measurements and lifetime considerations.
