Abstract

γ rays emitted from the Sc45(p,pγ) reaction have been observed at proton energies of 2.8, 3.2, and 3.6 MeV. A total of 28 γ-ray transitions were observed to be associated with the decay of 14 levels known from previous reaction studies. Some possible spin assignments have been deduced from the observed γ-ray branching ratios.
