Atypical Case of Trichinellosis

CLINICAL PRESENTATION

A 51-year-old woman presented with a complaint of bilateral swelling of legs, myalgia and muscle weakness. The patient ate a vegetarian diet. Her general physical examination was normal. Laboratory findings were tests glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase, 229 U/L; glutamic pyruvic transaminase, 128 U/L; creatine phosphokinase, 1283 U/L and lactate dehydrogenase, 2293 U/L.
