Abstract
The q-deformed Moszkowski model with cranking is studied in the mean-field approximation. It is shown that the residual interaction simulated by the q-deformation is felt more strongly by states with large Jz. The high-spin states are studied and a sum rule in the rotating frame is obtained. The influence of the q-deformation on the transition between bands and the relationship between q-deformation and temperature are discussed.
