Abstract
A new ballistic-like surface growth model of two kinds of particle (A and C) depositing on a two-dimensional substrate is proposed. The scaling behaviour of the surface width W is obtained for different values of the deposition probability P of particle C and system sizes. As the probability P increases a transition of the morphological structure is found, which is defined by the exponent varying with the probability P. The physical origin of the transition is discussed in terms of the diffusion of particles and the directed percolating processes.
