Abstract
The author suggests two modified versions of the Rosen-Zener theory of surface-ion neutralization, originally proposed by Amos (1989) and his colleagues. In the first, he retains the assumption of zero bandwidth, and uses a more accurate form of the Rosen-Zener conjecture. In the second, he also allows the band to have some width.
