Abstract

Photoelectron spectra obtained with polycrystalline films of Cu using synchrotron radiation in the range h(cross) omega =14-45 eV are presented. The results are in agreement with theoretical calculations which take account of optical matrix elements. A density of states function is derived from an average over final states.
