Abstract
In this short review we discuss the main differences observed in the physical properties of (TMTSF)2X and (BEDT-TTF)2X families of organic conductors. The special role played by quasi-one- or quasi-two-dimensionality in the magnetic and superconducting properties of these compounds is analyzed in the light of some recent experimental data.
