We have detected the electrons accompanying the decay of a long‐lived isomer in 254No, which was produced with the 208Pb(48Ca,2n) reaction. Time and spatial correlations of A = 254 evaporation residues, isomeric electrons and ground‐state α‐particles confirmed the existence of the isomer. The measured electron sum‐energy spectrum favors a Kπ = 7− assignment for the isomer.
