Abstract
This chapter is intended to give mentors and mentees a quick reference guide to things they may need to consider during the various stages of the mentoring relationship. Whilst not all points will be appropriate in every context, the following pages illustrate key areas that can usefully be discussed and thought about when: getting involved, starting the relationship, working and learning together, and ending and evaluating the relationship.
