Abstract
Two minor alkaloids, crassicauline B and crassicaulidine, were isolated from the roots of Aconitum crassicaule (1, 2). The structure of crassicauline B, C27H31O4N, is now deduced as (1), while the previously assigned structure of crassicaulidine has been further confirmed as (7) on the basis of chemical data and 13C-NMR spectrum.
