Chlorocarbenium hexachloroantimonates 1 react with N-silylimines 5 affording the 2-azoniaallene hexachloroantimonates 4 under mild conditions. The N-silylimine 5a reacts with phosgene to give a dicationic salt 7 with an interesting new structure.
