Wavelength stabilisation of a three-electrode distributed Bragg reflector laser with longitudinal mode control
The lasing wavelength of a tunable three-electrode distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) laser is stabilised while also suppressing mode hopping. Wavelength stabilisation at four different wavelengths was maintained during a laser temperature change from 15 to 30°C, and the temperature dependence of the wavelength was reduced to <0.007 nm/K.
