Synthesis of a series of porous aromatic frameworks by mechanical ball milling

Abstract

Mechanochemistry is a green and simple approach for constructing porous organic frameworks. In this contribution, we reported the synthesis of porous aromatic frameworks by combining an FeCl3-promoted coupling reaction with mechanochemistry. It is worth mentioning that PAF-104f and PAF-105g present the highest surface areas of 840 and 684 m2 gāˆ’1.
