Preparation of new conducting Langmuir–Blodgett films based on an ethylenedithiodioctadecylthiotetrathiafulvalene charge transfer complex

Abstract

A novel charge transfer complex of the ethylenedithiodioctadecylthiotetrathiafulvalene donor with tetrafluorotetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQF4) gives rise to conducting Langmuir–Blodgett films, after in situ iodine vapour treatment.
