A novel electrochemical method for the preparation of triangular and cubic molybdenum clusters as aqua ions

Abstract

Aqua ions of Mo3S44+ and Mo4S45+ have been obtained in high yield in a single electrochemical experiment, which is applicable also to the preparation of Mo3O44+ and Mo4O45+ and other analogous clusters.
