Novel colloidal aluminophosphate synthesized under microwave irradiation

Abstract

A novel framework type aluminophosphate with large pores was synthesized from colloidal precursor solutions under microwave irradiation. The colloidal aluminophosphate crystals were monodisperse with a mean particle diameter of 80 nm; no structural transformation occurred under complete dehydration of nanosized aluminophosphate crystals.
