Knockdown of UHRF1 inhibits HUVEC migration. (a) Representative images of wound-healing assays. HUVECs were transiently transfected with a nontargeting or two different UHRF1 siRNAs. At 60 h after transfection, wound-healing assays were performed as described in the Materials and methods. (b) Statistical analyses of wound-healing assays. (c) UHRF1 is efficiently knocked down by siRNAs. Whole-cell extracts were prepared from HUVECs 60 h after siRNA transfection. Immunoblotting was performed to determine UHRF1 knockdown efficiency. Wound-healing assays were performed as described in the Materials and methods. Unpaired two-tail t-tests (*P<0.01) were used for statistical analyses.
