Abstract
PERITROPHIC membranes have been studied in insects from the microscopic1, submicroscopic2 and histo-chemical2–4 point of view. The lack of information about this structure in arachnids has already been emphasized5,6. I therefore present some more bibliographical and histological data on this subject.
