The inflammatory gene expression profile observed in the chronic inflammatory autoimmune disorder Sjögren's syndrome is associated with changes in TNF-α converting enzyme, TNF-α and NF-κB levels. Pathways that include TNF-α signaling converge on NF-κB and contribute to the pathology of this condition.
