Abstract

To identify proteins associated with 5-fluorouracil-resistance, a comparative proteome analysis was carried out using human gastric cancer cells and their derivative cells made resistant to 5-fluorouracil. Five proteins, a heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein K, transcription factor II, FLJ11122, hook3 protein and T-complex locus TCP-1, were identified that were differentially expressed in these cell lines.
