Microstructural Evolution of Fe2O3 and ZnFe2O4 during Sonochemical Synthesis of Zinc Ferrite

Abstract

The microstructural evolution of Fe2O3 and ZnFe2O4 during high-temperature (600–800°C) sonochemical synthesis of zinc ferrite is studied by x-ray diffraction analysis. The results are used to develop a qualitative model for ultrasonically activated solid-state reactions A s +B sC s .
