Effect of Thermochemical Disequilibrium on the Composition of a Hydrogen Arc Plasma

  • Published:
High Temperature Aims and scope

Abstract

The deviation of the composition of a hydrogen electric-arc plasma from equilibrium is investigated numerically versus the diameter of the arc channel in the range between 1 and 5 mm for an asymptotic region of an arc at substantially subsonic velocities of plasma flow.
