Abstract
The regioselectivity in reactions of the lithium salt of 4H-cyclopenta[2,1-b:3,4-b']dithiophene with various electrophilic agents [SiMe3Cl, SnMe3Cl, D2O, Re(CO)5Br] is discussed in terms of the charge and orbital control concepts.
