Abstract

The ASACUSA experiment [1] was approved last year for the Antiproton Decelerator at CERN. Its aim is to study basic atomic processes of slow antiprotons: stopping power and ionization in low-pressure gases, Coulomb capture of antiprotons and to make laser spectroscopy of antiprotonic transitions.
