Mirrlees, produced a revised and considerably rewritten version, namely Project Appraisal and Planning for Developing Countries (London, Heinemann, 1974). This compares their approach to that of the U.N.I.D.O. Guidelines for Project Evaluation (New York, 1972), prepared essentially by P. S. Dasgupta, S. A. Marglin, and A. K. Sen, and concludes:
