2020, Travel Medicine and Infectious DiseaseCitation Excerpt :The common health services sought by travellers from community pharmacies in our study were dispensing medication for travel and special healthcare preparation for different chronic diseases. This finding is consistent with the finding of Mutie et al., which showed the importance of community pharmacists in providing travel health for travellers with chronic conditions, especially for potential drug interactions and general management of their chronic diseases [29]. The high potential for drug interactions, as well as drug-disease interactions, was illustrated in a cohort study based on a pre-travel health clinic at the Chaim Sheba Medical Center between 2005 and 2007 [30].
