    Citation Excerpt :

Despite its growing popularity, very little research has been done to investigate dokha smoking. Published work on dokha appears to be focused on its prevalence along with a very limited number of case studies on its health effects (Al-Houqani et al., 2012; Al Shemmari et al., 2015; Alsaadi et al., 2014; Asfour et al., 2015; CDC, 2015; Jayakumary et al., 2010; Shaikh et al., 2014, 2012; Vupputuri et al., 2014). A study by Shaikh et al., reported the effects of smoking dokha on the cardiovascular and respiratory systems (Shaikh et al., 2012).
