Chronic fatigue syndrome and fatigue symptoms have been associated with NCS with high LRV-inferior vena cava pressure gradients. Fatigue symptoms correlated positively with high PV ratios using Doppler ultrasonography and improved in some patients after surgery.15-17 Only 1 patient had complaints of chronic fatigue syndrome with concomitant non-nephrotic proteinuria and a high PV of the LRV (11.8 cm/s) on Doppler ultrasonography.
