To support the expansion of mind-body training and academic courses in their member institutions, the Consortium of Academic Health Centers for Integrative Medicine (CAHCIM) offered seed grants of $5,000 to each of its member schools. This was made possible through a generous educational grant from the Bravewell Collaborative. Sierpina et al. previously demonstrated that a two hour learning activity to teach Integrative Medicine concepts to trainers could similarly change knowledge, skills, and attitudes in medical school faculty.11 In conclusion, a learning activity about an Integrative Medicine model that adds value to standard care in the treatment of breast pain was packaged in a one hour session for medical students and residents.
