Abstract

High energy magnetic excitations in the Kondo compound with the ε-TiNiSi type crystal structure, CeRhSb, were observed by inelastic neutron scattering. The magnetic excitation spectrum at 17 K shows a broad inelastic peak which is well reproduced by the Lorentzian spectral function centred at E0=32±4 meV with a half width of ΓE0.
