2012, Journal of Pediatric SurgeryCitation Excerpt :More frequently, patients develop rectal bleeding, abdominal pain, or acute intestinal intussusception because of intestinal polyposis [1,2,6]. Gastroduodenal polyps have been described to be frequent in children [4], but only few of them cause gastric outlet obstruction [7,8]. Fernandez Seara et al [1] reported hematemesis without any obstructive symptoms in a neonate with generalized gastrointestinal Peutz-Jeghers polyps.
