Abstract

We have measured current-voltage characteristics on bulk YBa2Cu3O7-x in applied fields of 0–3 T and temperatures below Tc. A power-law behavior was observed at the nonlinear part of the I-V curves. The similarities of this behavior with the scaling behavior in critical phenomena and with the behavior of conventional type II superconductors are discussed. The upper critical field is also estimated tentatively.
