Rotating solutions of non-relativistic string theory
2005, Physics Letters, Section B: Nuclear, Elementary Particle and High-Energy PhysicsCitation Excerpt :Non-relativistic strings (NR) in flat transverse space with a non-trivial spectrum were introduced in [1,2], in the static gauge they become free theories [3]. The actions of NR strings and branes can be constructed as Wess–Zumino terms [4] of the underlying Galilei groups using the method of non-linear realizations for space–time groups [5,6]. NR superstring theories in flat transverse space were recently analyzed in [7].
