An operational, nonlinear input-output system
2014, Economic ModellingCitation Excerpt :Under quite general conditions, but all of them sharing a modified system productivity assumption, existence and uniqueness can be proved. Sandberg (1973), Chander (1983), Fujimoto (1986), Szidarovszky (1989), and Herrero and Silva (1991), among others, provide the necessary theoretical background for NIO logical consistency. In a NIO model technical coefficients are not taken as fixed.
The analytical solution of balanced growth of non-linear dynamic multi-sector economic model
2011, Economic ModellingCitation Excerpt :If the production activities in each sector are described by a production function with constant return to scale and all sectors are pursuing the maximum profits, then the non-linear dynamic CGE model can be expressed in a form similar to the linear dynamic input–output model, and simpler computation methods are available (see Zhang, 2001; etc.). In some articles, the linear dynamic input–output model was extended to obtain non-linear dynamic input–output models (see Chander, 1983; Fujimoto, 1986; Woods, 1978; etc.). However, these models did not provide production functions for sectors, nor did they deduce the parameters for the input–output coefficient matrix based on the principle of profit maximization.

2008, Nonlinear Analysis, Theory, Methods and ApplicationsThe Rogalski-Cornet theorem and a Leontief-type input-output inclusion
2008, Nonlinear Analysis, Theory, Methods and ApplicationsCitation Excerpt :Sandberg [11] considered a class of nonlinear input–output models and gave solvability results under certain reasonable assumptions. Some solvability results have been obtained by Fujimoto [4] for a generalized Leontief model in abstract spaces. Liu and Chen [7,8] considered a class of nonlinear Leontief input–output equations, where the constant matrix in the classical Leontief input–output model is replaced by a nonnegative continuous operator.
